Registering as a donor is the single kindest 2-minute action on the platform. Your profile quietly waits in the background until someone with your blood group, in your area, needs help.
- Go to your dashboard and open Blood Donor.
- Create your donor profile — blood group, district/area, and availability.
- Save. Your profile is public the moment you create it (opt-in) — no waiting for approval.
- Manage or pause it any time from your dashboard.
Your card then appears at a public address like /donor/<your-slug>, so people searching your blood group in your district can find you.
💡 Tip: Keep your district/area accurate. Blood donation is local — most requests come from people who can reach you within an hour or two.
🔒 Your Phone Number Stays Private
This is the part that makes people comfortable saying "yes." Your phone number is never shown publicly. Ever.
Here's the flow instead:
- A person who needs blood finds your card and submits a request — leaving their own contact details and the situation.
- You receive that request and decide, on your own terms, whether to help.
- If you're willing, you call them back. The control is always yours.
No automatic SMS is sent, and no stranger ever sees your number. You are never put on the spot in public.
🆘 Finding Blood When You Need It
If a loved one needs blood, every minute counts — so the search is built to be fast and simple.
- Open Find donors.
- Choose the blood group you need.
- Pick the district/area using the searchable location box.
- Browse matching donors. Those available now are shown first.
- Open a donor's card and submit your request with your contact and details.
Willing donors will call you back. Send your request to a few matching donors to improve your chances quickly.
💡 Tip: Type into the district box to jump straight to your area instead of scrolling — it's a fast searchable combobox, not a plain list.
⏳ The 90-Day Safety Cooldown
Your body needs time to rebuild after donating. BioMedixAI protects donors automatically:
- After you record a donation, your profile is auto-marked unavailable for 90 days — the standard safe interval between whole-blood donations.
- Once those 90 days pass, you become available again automatically. No manual toggling needed.
This means seekers only ever see donors who are genuinely safe to donate — protecting both sides.
🤝 Donor Societies
Individuals save lives one at a time; societies organise lifesaving at scale. A Donor Society (like a Sandhani- or Badhan-style community group) is a real, creatable organisation on the platform.
Creating a society
- Go to create at home and choose the Donor Society track in the create wizard.
- Fill in your society's details and create it.
- It's public on creation (opt-in), with an owner public/private toggle you control.
- Manage everything from Blood Society in your dashboard.
Your society gets a public home at /society/<your-slug>, discoverable via Find societies.
💡 Tip: A society is a great umbrella for a college club, mosque/temple group, or workplace team that already donates together.

Your society dashboard gives you the tools to turn goodwill into organised impact:
