Think of your Doctor's Page as your always-open clinic on the internet. A signboard tells people your name and specialty; a receptionist manages your appointment book; a prescription pad lets you write and hand over a clean Rx. Your Page does all three — and never sleeps.
On BioMedixAI, one person keeps one account, and professional roles simply stack on top of it. You don't create a separate login to be "a doctor" — you add a Page (your public professional profile) to the account you already have.
Because a Page represents a licensed physician, the doctor Page kind requires BMDC verification. This protects patients and keeps the marketplace trustworthy — the badge means you are who you say you are.

🚀 Create Your Page
- Go to the homepage and open the Create menu — you create at home, not inside a workspace.
- Choose the doctor Page kind and complete BMDC verification.
- Fill in your name, specialty, and photo.
- Write your About / Bio using the built-in rich-text (Markdown) editor — training, focus areas, languages you speak.
- Save. Your public profile lives at
/p/<your-slug>.
Before a brand-new listing appears publicly, it passes a quick SuperAdmin publish-approval. Once approved, you freely toggle the Page public or private yourself whenever you like.
💡 Tip: A warm, specific bio ("18 years in pediatric asthma") converts far better than a list of degrees. Patients book people they trust.
🏥 Add Your Chambers
One Page can hold many chambers — because most doctors sit in more than one place. Each chamber you add carries its own:

Add a new chamber for each location and set its details independently. Move to a new clinic? Update just that chamber.
📅 Booking Modes & Tokens
Each chamber runs in one of two booking modes:
- BOOK_NOW — patients pick an open slot online and reserve it directly.
- DIRECT_CALL — the platform mediates a call-to-book. The patient's direct contact stays managed, and a phone number can be hidden until after booking.
When a patient requests a call-to-book visit, the system issues a 6-digit token. The patient can track the live status of that request, and your desk/admin confirms it through a simple confirm flow. Duplicate requests for the same person and day are caught automatically.
💡 Tip: Use BOOK_NOW for predictable slot-based chambers and DIRECT_CALL where scheduling is more fluid — you can mix modes across different chambers.
Patients can also cancel or reschedule their own appointments, and when you take a vacation, affected patients are notified of cancellations automatically.
👩⚕️ Run a Consultation
When it's time to see a patient, work from your appointment list in your dashboard:
- Open the appointment to load the patient (age is shown in the BD X.Y format).
- Write a consultation note — complaints, findings, and clinical observations.
- Attach files to the note where useful (reports, images).
- Record a diagnosis using the ICD-10 code picker for a standardized, searchable record.
Walk-in? Quick-register the patient on the spot and proceed — no long form required.
💊 Write a Prescription (Rx)
From the consultation, add a prescription:
- Add medicines using the country-wide drug directory typeahead — start typing and pick the generic/brand.
- Set dosing for each drug.
- Order investigations / lab tests with the built-in picker — these print under the "Inv." section of the Rx.
- Reuse an Rx template to load your common regimens in one click.
- Finalize to generate a clean PDF you can print or share.
Amendments are audited, never overwritten
A finalized prescription is never silently changed. If you need to correct one, the system creates a re-issued, chained version with the reason recorded — the full history is preserved. This is a legal-grade safeguard for you and your patient.
