🛒 What Is the BioMedixAI Shop?
Think of the Shop as a Daraz for healthcare — a single marketplace where hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and individuals buy and sell medical goods. Just as Daraz hosts thousands of independent sellers under one roof, BioMedixAI lets any verified user open a Store, list products, and reach buyers across the platform.
There are two sides to this marketplace:
- Buyers browse the public Shop, add items to a cart, and check out.
- Sellers open a Store, list Products, and fulfil orders from their store order desk.
💡 Tip: The Shop is separate from your clinical workspace. Anyone with a BioMedixAI account can shop — you don't need a facility to buy.
🏬 Store vs. Pharmacy Storefront — Know the Difference
Two things sound similar but are not the same:

💡 Tip: When you open a brand-new marketplace shop, that's a Store at
/store/<slug>. Don't confuse it with a pharmacy's own/shop/<slug>storefront.
🚀 Opening Your Store
Your Store is a creatable entity — the third track in the Create wizard, alongside Pages and Facilities.
- Go to create at home and open the Create menu.
- Choose the Store track.
- Decide whether your store is standalone or linked to a facility (hospital, clinic, or pharmacy you already run).
- Fill in your store details and submit.
- Your store goes through a SuperAdmin publish-approval before it appears publicly.
Once approved, your store lives at a public page: /store/<your-slug>.
💡 Tip: The publish-approval gate is a one-time check before your first public appearance. It keeps the marketplace trustworthy for buyers.
📦 Listing Products
Products are the heart of your store — a generic catalogue you manage from your store dashboard (create, edit, delete).

The DGDA medicine gate
Medicine listings pass through a DGDA medicine gate — a compliance check aligned with Bangladesh drug regulation. This keeps medicine sales responsible and above board.
💡 Tip: If you sell devices only, you'll never see the medicine gate — it applies to the medicine category.
🖼️ Rich Product Pages — Images & Variants
Every product can be presented professionally:
- Multiple images — upload a set; buyers browse them in a gallery.
- Detail page — each product gets its own page at
/shop/p/<slug>with the full gallery and an add-to-cart action. - Variants — offer colour and size options, each with its own price and stock.
- Open the product from your store dashboard.
- Upload one or more images.
- Add variants (e.g. sizes S / M / L) and set price + stock per variant.
- Save — buyers pick their variant right on the detail page.
💡 Tip: Accurate per-variant stock means checkout decrements the exact option a buyer chose, so your inventory stays honest.
🔍 How Buyers Browse
The public marketplace is built for discovery. Buyers can start at the main Shop or jump straight to a category:
Each category page includes a sidebar with facets/filters, so buyers narrow down to exactly what they need.
💡 Tip: A clear title, good photos, and the right category are your best sales tools — they decide whether your product surfaces in a buyer's filter.
💳 Cart, Checkout & Multi-Store Orders
Buying works exactly as shoppers expect:
- Open a product's detail page and pick a variant (if any).
- Add to cart 🛒.
- Go to checkout and confirm delivery details.
- Place the order.
Automatic multi-store split
If your cart holds items from different stores, BioMedixAI splits the order automatically — each store receives its own portion to fulfil, while the buyer completes a single checkout.
Payment
Today, payment is Cash on Delivery (COD) / pickup. Online payment is coming with the platform's payment gateway.
💡 Tip: Track your placed orders from the Shop orders area — an order group covers all stores in one purchase.
📬 Managing Orders as a Seller
When a buyer orders from you, your store order desk handles the rest:
- You receive a new-order notification.
- Open the order in your store dashboard.
- Prepare the item, arrange COD or pickup, and mark the order as fulfilled.
Keep your notifications on so no order slips through. You can review store activity anytime from your dashboard.
💡 Tip: Fast, reliable fulfilment builds your reputation — repeat buyers are the lifeblood of a marketplace store.
