Think of BioMedixAI as a set of building blocks. A Hospital stacks every block — wards, beds, emergency, operation theatre. A Clinic is the lightweight starting block: just the essentials a chamber needs to run day one, with none of the heavy machinery you won't use.
A Clinic (kind 💉) is the right choice for:
- A single-doctor chamber — one physician, their patients, their appointments.
- A small specialty practice — dermatology, gynae, paediatrics, physio, dental.
- A general-practice clinic that wants proper patient records + simple billing, without running a lab.
💡 Tip: Not sure whether you need a Clinic or a full Diagnostic Centre? If you don't process lab samples or imaging in-house, start with a Clinic. You can always turn on more later.

🚀 Create Your Clinic
- Go to the homepage and open the Create menu.
- Choose Facility, then pick Clinic 💉 as the kind.
- Fill in name, location, contact, and (optionally) a logo.
- Submit. Your Clinic is created and you land in business overview — your operations hub.
💡 Tip: New public listings pass a quick SuperAdmin publish-approval before they appear on the marketplace for the first time. Your private workspace works immediately — approval only gates the public page.
👩⚕️ Add Doctors & Staff
A Clinic can host one or many doctors.
- From business overview, open your staff/team section.
- Invite a doctor or receptionist by their contact details.
- Each doctor can also keep their own personal Doctor's Page — a public profile patients can find and book. See the Doctor's Page guide for that.
One person, one account — a doctor who already has a Doctor's Page simply joins your Clinic; no duplicate profiles.
📅 Appointments & the Front Desk
Your Clinic runs on a simple booking flow:
- Patients book a slot from your public clinic page.
- Reception manages the queue — confirm, reschedule, or mark arrivals.
- Walk-ins? Use walk-in quick-register to create the patient and slot them into the queue in seconds.
Every visit ties back to the patient's UHID, so their history follows them across every facility on BioMedixAI — no lost records when they visit again.
🌐 Your Public Clinic Page
Once approved, your Clinic gets a public page that can show:
- About and specialty
- Doctors practising there
- Opening hours
- Location and contact
This is how patients discover you on Find facilities. Keep it accurate and inviting — it's your storefront.
💡 Tip: A clear specialty tag and correct hours dramatically improve how often patients find and choose your clinic.
📈 Growing Beyond a Clinic
A Clinic is your starting point, not a ceiling — the platform grows with you. When your practice expands, open Settings and enable additional modules as you need them:
